JOY
I would cast Lily James for Joy because she has an amazing smile, she has a happy uplifting spirit, and her golden hair is like a sunflower that always follows the sun. Lily also plays many roles that are high spirited characters that are confident in what they do. She also lifts people up when they are down and she is very good at encouraging others to be great too.
SADNESS
I would cast Sebastian Stan for Sadness because in some of his movies he portrays sadness differently than others. Where others would cry sobbing out loud Sebastian Stan holds strong and shows more emotion in his face than crying out loud. Sebastian hides his sadness for himself and not for others to see.
FEAR
I would cast Tom Holland for Fear becases Tom Holland portrays in his movies these strong nothing can scare me characters which he tries to be in real life, but there are still things that scare Tom like spiders, jump scares ect. Tom Holland tries to keep his cool but loses it when scared.
ANGER
I would cast William Zabka’s Johnny Lawrence as Anger because he, “strikes first” he doesn’t wait for an explanation. He is a hot head and many things make him mad, but when mad he doesn’t mind throwing in some humare to make himself feel better. Sadly it doesn’t make his opponent feel too great, but that's what makes Johnny Lawrence the best candidate for Anger. Younger and older he is the same.
DISGUST
I would cast Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark as Disgust because even though everyone wants to say Chris Evans’s Captian America is in charge we all know Tony Stark is the man behind the plan. Tony Stark gets disgusted when everyone woos over Captain America when really they should be thanking him. Tony Stark also is the first to tell everyone not to do something and when they find out they’re wrong he gets annoyed. Now no one really doesn’t want to listen to him because they think he is a spoiled millionaire, but Tony Stark knows his stuff.
Hi Izzy,
ReplyDeleteI love your choice of using many Marvel characters. The actors and characters themselves are so complex on and off the screen. I love how you picked Lily James as your Joy, I also feel in her roles she really depicts joy. I especially remember her in Mamma Mia 2 as young Donna. She really captures the role with the vibrant character and is very happy and joyful. Also her role as Cinderella in the Disney live action remake, she sparks happiness as she enjoys the little things the same way Donna does. Great work!
Your selection of marvel characters was by far the best, As a marvel fan, knowing them made it easy for me to understand why you chose them in particular. However, out of all the characters you chose, Johnny Lawrence and his reference to "strike first" was spot on
