Nothing is quite like receiving a gift you have been wanting for a while. It instantly puts you in a good mood and makes you feel super grateful for whoever gave it to you. However, one gift I have received stands above the rest. The best gift I have ever been given was the trip to Europe my family gave me and my siblings for Christmas.
I have always wanted to go to Europe. I am beyond fascinated by history and Europe is filt to the brim with it. You can imagine my excitement when opening a small gift and seeing three plane tickets to London, England. Unfortunately the trip was planned for the following summer so I waited another few months before finally we were set to go.
The plane ride to London was long and uncomfortable but I could not complain as we landed and saw our aunt for the first time in a while. The first week of the trip in London we visited many museums and learned a lot about history and saw many cool things. As the week came to a close we took a train across the channel to Amsterdam. There we ate the best cookies of all time, some great pancakes, and visited some cool museums. After that we took another train to Paris and visited the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and ate at many little cafes. We took a plane to Germany as our trip came to a close. We visited little shops and restaurants. We also went to a museum about movies. As the second week came to a close we flew back to London. The very next day we flew back to America. The trip to Europe was the best gift I have ever been given.
